The United Methodist Women’s Western Pennsylvania Conference Annual Meeting Saturday, October 13, 2007 Registration 9:00 a.m. Meeting 9:30a.m. until 2:30p.m. Concord United Methodist Church (Click for Directions) 285 Concord Road Beaver Falls, PA 15010 724-846-4739 (Click for Reservation Form) Most United Methodist Women are very involved in mission in their local area but do you realize how much is being done by WPA around the world? Come and learn what has been accomplished in Alaska and Zimbabwe as well as around our Conference. As an added treat, we will hear a report from the attendees of the United Methodist Women’s National Seminar. This is the second year where all district officers will receive their training at the Annual Meeting. Officers please try to be present as there will be no additional district officer training. Each attendee who is NOT a district officer will choose a Mission Presentation led mostly by our WPA Missionaries. Lodging If you prefer to come the night before, rooms have been reserved at Beaver Falls Motel at 7257 Big Beaver Blvd. (Route 18), ˝ mile from PA turnpike. $57.88 per room No breakfast is provided but each room has a refrigerator and there will be a generous continental breakfast at the church. Deadline for room reservation: Sept. 15. Ingathering The ingathering will be focused on our WPA Missionaries. You may bring any of the following items: Prison Ministries—Sample-size toiletries, activity books, SMALL stuffed animals. Disaster Outreach Ministries—health kits Partners for Life (Connellsville Community Ministries)—new or gently used clothing for ages 12months-4years, $10 or $15 Walmart gift cards for persons in crisis.
